I started my musical career in 2008 with a wonderful event - performing for His Majesty Kong Harald and Queen Sonja. A magic night in my friend Tor´s establishment where the royalties and guests were having a dinner. Me and two other singers served wine and sang. From the windows we saw the ship "Norge" was anchored - amazingly beautiful in the ocean.
The same year I also visited Argentina for the first time, and from there my musical journey continued. In 2010 I got help from guitarist & musical arranger Julián Hermida to record an album in Buenos Aires. The norwegian poet Ragnar Olsen recreated 13 tango texts into norwegian. Musical producer and pianist: Kristin Skaare. Double bass: Pablo Motta. Bandoneón: Nicolas Enrich.
The grand tangosinger Alberto Podestá features on my album - and even on this video. Just point at the tip of my nose!

In 2013 "Flagstad - Triumph & Tragedy" a monologue about the great Norwegian soprano written and directed by Einar Bjørge.
From our visit to Scandinavia House, New York in February 2015. The New York premiere of Flagstad – Triumph and Tragedy marked the 80th anniversary of Flagstad’s February 1935 debut at the Metropolitan Opera, which launched her into international stardom.
The story about the longing Alma - imagining her self in a new life in Argentina. Playing the part of Alma I was sourrounded by an ensamble of four musicians and two dancers from Buenos Aires. Directed by Geir Atle Johnsen.
I started directing after working as an - on and off- technician in theater for three years, and after studying three years in theater school. I got my first employment in 1991 as a instructor for amateurs in the northern part of Norway, and experienced my most intensive and busy two years. Assignments from workshops for kids in school and shows, culminating with the complex and funny staging of Johan de Meij's Lord of The Rings for a huge orcestra integrating dance, theatre, shadow theatre and wall climbing. On this project I was blessed with professional lighting designer, directing assistent, scenographer and so on. And accomplished parents helping out oncarpeting and sewing. A great cooperation between professional counterparts and amateurs.
My latest assignment was in Bergen as instructor for "Bobo, Eia & Besøket" made by Gabrielle Barth and Monika Solheim also featuring on stage together with actor/musician Sebastian Eilertsen. Music composed by Eline Sundal. The performance was co-produced by Nationale Scene in Bergen.

I grew up in Nesna, in the northern part of Norway, and moved to Oslo to study at Einar Granum School of Art.
I started acting studies at The Academy Theatre Project in 1988 and graduated in 1990. From 1990-1991 I studied at the Nordic Theatre School in Aarhus (Dk) and made my debut as an actress in 1992.
Since then I have been involved in many theatre productions in Norway as an actress and puppeteer. I appeared in productions such as the Riksteatret's production of "Mirad - the boy from Bosnia" in 1995 and Hålogaland Theatre's "Babette's Feast" in 1999.
From 2002 to 2006, I worked at the Hordaland Teater in Bergen, and engaged by Oslo Nye Teater in two productions in 2006/08.
Between 2007 and 2010 I acted in «Himmelblå» (Sky Blue) a TV Drama series shown on the NRK (National Norwegian Broadcasting), and for the 2009/10 season I was contracted at Nordland Theatre.
In autumn 2011 I produced and acted in the tango performance "Sørover"(Southbound).
During 2013 I was collaborating with director and dramatist Einar Bjørge on "Utvalgt" (Flagstad - Triumph & Tragedy), a solo performance based upon the life of the Norwegian opera singer and highly regarded Wagnerian (dramatic) Kirsten Flagstad. She ranks among the greatest singers of the 20th century; Many opera critics called her "the voice of the century.". The opening was at the 15th of June 2013 under the Kirsten Flagstad Festival in Hamar.
